TEACHER

I have been fortunate throughout my career to teach actors at every experience level. Before I began my journey as a performer, I was an Education major at Ball State University. I have taught children from the ages of 8 to 18 at the Springer Theatre Academy (the State Theatre of Georgia) and at the Rose of Athens Theatre Academy. I was recognized for my work teaching undergraduate theatre students while pursuing my MFA, receiving both the Outstanding Teaching Award (2001) and Most Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant (2000). Since 2003, I have been teaching university students at Columbus State University in Columbus, GA, Piedmont University, and at Gordon College in Barnesville, GA. At Gordon, I am an Associate Professor and have been awarded tenure (2020).
